Season:   1st Mar - 31st Oct Species:  Brown and Rainbow Trout Method:  Fly only

This 5 hectare (12 acres) lake is close to the village of Poyntzpass. Access is by way of the angling club car park only.  Newry and District Angling Association control this water and only orthodox fly fishing is permitted.  Day tickets are available, which  will also cover the angling associations waters on the Newry and Clanrye rivers.     A Loughs Agency rod licence is compulsory to fish this water.
