‘Finn Through the Lens’ Exhibition Launched

Thursday 9th June sees the launch of the ‘Finn Through the Lens’ exhibition, a stunning photographic display of the majestic River Finn from photographer Emer O’Shea.

This photographic exhibition charts the meanderings of the Finn from its source in Fintown to its exit from Donegal at Clady. Emer captures a multitude of moods and motions from the river and its surroundings, celebrating the changing topography of the Finn across the four seasons.

Showcasing the story of the source of the River Finn catchment to Clady Bridge in Tyrone, photographer and filmmaker Emer captures all of its natural beauty in stunning form: from the breathtaking bridges to the wonderful wildlife, fascinating flora, fauna and fishermen to one of the most magnificent rivers in the Foyle catchment area.

The display will be available to view this weekend at The BASE Enterprise Centre, Railway Road, Stranorlar.

It opens on Thursday 9th June at 7.30pm, continuing through Friday 10th June and Saturday 11th June from 10am until 4pm.

This is a free event; all are welcome to attend, and refreshments will be served.
