Mill Pond is 3 Hectares (7.5 acres), lying amongst the foothills of the Mourne Mountains, along the bottom of a narrow valley. Coarse fishing for the usual species, including reasonable pike fishing.  Fishing rights for the water belong to Hall Estate (Narrow Water Castle) and landowner permission is required to fish.   A Loughs Agency rod licence is compulsory to fish this water. 

Warning: The fish parasite Argulus Sp. has been confirmed in Mill Dam. Anglers using this lake are advised to be extra vigilant regarding biosecurity to ensure it does not spread to any of the surrounding lakes or rivers.
