Loughmacrory is a 24 hectare lake with a population of wild brown trout that is also stocked with rainbow trout. Other fish species present include pike and perch. Loughmacrory has good facilities – a 1.3 mile walk around the lake, toilets, a club house for members and several jetties. The jetties can be utilised by wheelchair users. Guides, coaches and angling packages are available through the club – the Loughmacrory & Murrins District AA. Boat fishing is also permitted using the club’s fleet of dedicated boats. A Loughs Agency rod licence is compulsory to fish this water.
