A new addition to the Riverwatch Visitor Centre is its 5 aquariums, each of which hosts different species that can be found in and around the Foyle and Carlingford catchments.

Each tank is based on a different ecosystem. These include: stream life; sea shore life; lake life; pond life and lough life.

The aquariums are an excellent visual recource and a must see for kids and adults alike. Some of the unique species on display include freshwater fish such as salmon, roach, minnow, stickleback, gudgeon and saltwater fish such as dogfish, blenny, gobbies, starfish, crabs and lobster!

Why not call in during feeding time - Monday, Wednesday and Saturdays at 3pm.
