As part of the Northern Ireland Science Festival, Loughs Agency have been delivering workshops in local schools this week. Pupils at Oakgrove Integrated College, St Joseph’s Boys School and Cumber Claudy Primary School have been introduced to some of the freshwater invertebrates that live in our rivers. The education team brought the bugs to the classroom and the pupils have been learning about how the Loughs Agency uses water samples to determine the health of rivers.
