The Loughs Agency is inviting applications for the above post.

Salary Scale: £20,692 to £22,739 p/a

Full time 40 hours per week (to include 1 hr per day unpaid lunch break)

Temporary Position: 1 Year contract (with possible extension)

Location: HQ, 22 Victoria Road, Prehen, Derry~Londonderry

Purpose of the Role

The Administrative Officer (Finance) will be directly responsible to the Staff Officer Accountant, fulfilling a variety of Finance Functions and providing support to the wider compliment of staff.

Scientific Officer – Hydromorphologist

The Loughs Agency is inviting applications for the above post.

Salary Scale: £26,962 to £27,819 p/a

Purpose of the Role

This role will involve working on the INTERREG funded project, Catchment CARE. As a project partner, the Loughs Agency will be investigating the ecosystem / water quality issues on the River Finn in Co. Donegal. This post will report to the Catchment Officer and support them in their role of delivering the targets / deliverables for the Loughs Agency under the Catchment CARE Project.  Specifically they shall have responsibility for managing and co-ordinating the Loughs Agency Hydro-morphology element

Summer Scheme Placement

Salary :  £3.90 to £8.21 p/h (Minimum Wage)

Temporary Positions (x 3) : 10 to 12 weeks

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of the role is to support full time staff in their day to day tasks where possible. The work placement Students will be assigned a mentor to guide them through specific tasks in various work areas within the Loughs Agency remit. The tasks may be rotated to allow placements to gain the maximum experience through working in different environments within the Loughs Agency. This placement is for a period of 10- 12 weeks.
